Ganjam, July 30: Biju Janata Dal (BJD) MLA from Surada, Purna Chandra Swain on Friday appeared the offline mode of Matric exam at Surada Girls High School in Bhanjanagar of Ganjam district.

The offline mode of the annual Matric Examinations began across Odisha on Friday.

The legislator had dropped his education from class IX in the year 1988.
