Bhubaneswar: The Para Sports Association of Odisha proudly announces that Suchitra Parida, a distinguished para athlete from Odisha, will represent India at the Paris 2025 World Para Athletics Grand Prix, scheduled to be held in Paris, France from June 2 to June 5, 2025.
Suchitra will compete in the F-55 Women’s javelin and Shot Put throw events. She had a remarkable 2025 year, she won gold medal in F-55 Women’s Javelin Throw at the New Delhi World Para Athletics Grand Prix 2025 and also claimed another gold medal in the same event at the National Para Athletics Championship 2025 held in Chennai.
Sucharita currently holds the World No. 2 ranking in her category – a testament to her determination, hard work, and exceptional talent.
The Paris Grand Prix is a prestigious international competition where some of the world’s best para athletes participate. This year, 30 para athletes from India will be competing in the event, aiming to bring glory to the nation.
