State-level painting camp on occasion of ‘Megha Utsav’

Jajpur, Aug 12: Odisha Lalit Kala Academy along with Odia Language, Literature & Culture Department organised a state-level painting camp at the Jajpur Sanskriti Bhawan on the occasion of Megha Utsav on Friday.

The camp that will be held for the next three days was inaugurated by the additional district collector, Akhay Kumar Mallick and sub-collector Gopinath Kuanr.

During the inauguration, the guests said that the artists have the potential to enhance the rich heritage and beauty of Jajpur by portraying them on their canvas.

The painting camp will witness the participation of several artists who will portray the beauty of various tourist places in Jajpur during the rainy season on their respective canvases for the next three days.

The organisers of the camp have informed that as many as 20 artists have participated in the state-level camp.
