Srimandir to re-open from tomorrow: Check ward-wise list issued for Puri denizens

Puri, Dec 22: Bringing an end to the long wait of devotees, Puri Srimandir is re-opening from tomorrow (December 23). The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has first allowed darshan of the deities exclusively to the kin of the sebayats (temple servitors) for the next three days. The Puri Collector Balwant Singh today issued a ward-wise list for the denizens of the pilgrim town to visit the temple from December 26-31. While darshan in Srimandir will begin from 7.30 am on December 26, only the residents of Wards No 2/3/6/9/11/12/15 have been allowed. December 26: From 7.30 to 11.30 am: Wards No 6 and 9 From 12 noon to 4.30 pm: Wards No 12 and 15 From 4.30 pm till Night Pahuda: Wards No 2, 3 and 11 December 27: From 7.30 to 11.30 am: Ward No 13 From 12 noon to 4.00 pm: Ward No 16 From 4.30 pm till Night Pahuda: Wards No 4, 17 and 20 December 28: From 7.30 to 11.30 am: Ward No 7 From 12 noon to 4.30 pm: Wards No 8 and 21 From 4.30 pm till Night Pahuda: Ward No 5 December 29: From 7.30 to 11.30 am: Wards No 14 and 32 From 12 noon to 4.30 pm: Wards No 22 and 26 From 4.30 pm till Night Pahuda: Ward No 1 December 30: From 7.30 to 11.30 am: Wards No 23 and 24 From 12 noon to 4.30 pm: Wards No 25 and 30 From 4.30 pm till Night Pahuda: Ward No 27 December 31: From 7.30 to 11.30 am: Ward No 28 From 12 noon to 4.30 pm: Wards No 29 and 31 In each shift 15 volunteers from the Pratihari Nijog will be assigned for the disciplined darshan purpose in every shift on the days, the Collector said.
