Bhubaneswar: The innovative sports-focused mobile application “Meeturexpert” was officially launched here on Sunday by the Sports Minister Suryabanshi Suraj, in the august presence of eminent personalities from the world of sports, administration, and medicine. The app brings together a wide range of specialists, including: Sports Medicine Doctors, Sports Surgeons, Sports Dieticians, Sports Physiotherapists, Sports Science Experts, Fitness Trainers & Strength, Conditioning Coaches, Video Analysts, Sports Massage Experts, Sports Psychologists, Biomechanics Specialists, Sports Yoga Professionals, Exercise Physiologists and Sports Diagnostics Experts.
In his remarks, Minister Suryabanshi Suraj lauded Dr. Dash’s efforts, assuring full support for the app’s development and reach. Deepankar Mohapatra, emphasized the necessity of modern digital tools in sports development. Dr. Panigrahi elaborated on ligament injuries and rehabilitation, while Dr. Bansal stressed the role of such platforms in modern sports. Olympian Srabani Nanda urged young athletes to make the best use of the app.
Dr. Mukti Prasad Dash, Founder and Director of Athlign Edutech Pvt. Ltd., the company behind Meeturexpert, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the vision of bringing science and sports together through technology.
The event also witnessed felicitation of eminent contributors to sports, including R.N. Routray, Naba Kumar Mishra, Rashmi Ranjan Parida, Nipen Das, Dilip Motwani, Yogamaya Panda, and Suresh Swain, for their continued dedication to the sports ecosystem.
The event was graced by Dr. Ajay Kumar Bansal, renowned hockey coach and Dronacharya Awardee, Shree Deepankar Mohapatra, CEO, HPCO, Dr. Ranajit Panigrahi, eminent orthopaedic surgeon, Srabani Nanda, Olympian, and Minati Mohapatra, the first Odia Arjuna Awardee.
Following the launch, an engaging panel discussion took place where panellists addressed queries related to the app. The discussion included eminent voices such as Sports Psychologist Yogamaya Panda and Senior Sports Journalist Suresh Swain, alongside the chief guests.
