Special marketing arrangement of Odisha handicrafts at Ekamra Haat

Bhubaneswar, Nov 11: The Ekamra Haat which is functioning under the Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts department has provided marketing platform to handicrafts artisans of Odisha for selling their products and help them for revival from Covid-19 pandemic. Utkalika has arranged as many as 44 stalls for display and sale of products from November 2 to November 15 where 62 artisans from 18 districts have participated to showcase variety of crafts including pattachitra, applique, sabai grass products and horn crafts. Visitors can get the facility to see and buy different artistic as well as utility products directly from producers. Amlan, Kalabhoomi and Sambalpuri Vastralaya have set up their individual stalls at Ekamra Haat. Moreover, facilities such as conference hall, ATM and parking space are available for convenience of visitors. The Ekamra Haat opens from 10.00am to 9.00pm daily following Covid-19 protocols. Till now 62 artisans have been privileged with business turnover of Rs 10 lakh.
