New York, Apr 9: A SpaceX rocket carrying three paying customers and a former NASA astronaut took off from Kennedy Space Centre in Florida on Friday morning. The trip was put together by Axiom Space. It will take the group on a 10-day mission to the International Space Station. This mission will mark the first time in history that private citizens will launch to the ISS from the US. Axiom hopes there will be many similar flights for anyone who can afford it. Michael Lopez-Alegría, a former NASA astronaut, is heading the mission called AX-1.
