SOA researcher honoured by Institute of Scholars

Bhubaneswar, Dec 22: Satish Kumar Samal, working as Placement Officer with Siksha 'O' Anusandhan (SOA), has been honoured with the Young Researcher Award for 2020 by the Institute of Scholars (InSc). The award was conferred on Samal at a virtual ceremony held on Saturday for his paper titled 'Frequency and Temperature Dependent Dielectric Features of Multi-Component Material.' Samal had completed his B.Tech in Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering from the Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), SOA's faculty of engineering and technology, and obtained his M.Tech in VLSI and Embedded System from the university. He is presently pursuing his Ph.D degree in the field of Electronic Field Shifters at ITER. Active in NCC and NSS, he had received the university Chancellor's Award in 2017 and was a Coordinator for the National Children's Science Congress (NCSC) organised by SOA in 2018.
