SOA conferred with ‘Best Institute Award’ at Dubai Education Conference

Bhubaneswar, Mar 28: Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) has been conferred with the ‘Best Educational Institute -- Eastern India’ award at the recently concluded International Education 2.0 Conference at Dubai. The conference was held at the Intercontinental Dubai Festival City from March 23 to 25. Prof. Nachieketa K. Sharma, Director of SOA’s International Relations and Outreach Programme and Ripti Ranjan Das, Placement Head of Institute of Technical Education and Research (ITER), SOA’s faculty of engineering and technology, received the award. Prof. Sharma, who was one among three panelists in a discussion on ‘Skills and Strategies to Strengthen Digital Literacy’, held during the conference, narrated how SOA was preparing a work plan to become a digital university and Multi-disciplinary Education and Research University (MERU) as per the National Education Policy 2020. Around 400 delegates from several countries including Germany, Britain, South Africa, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Poland, Japan, Nepal, Singapore, Saudi Arabia, Tanzania, Poland, Qatar, Bangladesh, India and hosts UAE attended the conference.
