Minister stops school bus en-route in Keonjhar: Initiates action for overloading

Keonjhar, June 23: School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Thursday detained two school buses in Keonjhar for carrying students beyond their capacity. Dash also asked police to initiate an investigation and legal action against the institution. Sources said that Dash was leaving for Keonjhar district today on a visit. Meanwhile, he found two school buses near Anandpur which were carrying students beyond their capacities. Following this, he detained the buses en route and warned the drivers about the over-loading. At the same time, he informed the Anandpur police to initiate necessary action against the school authorities. Documents of the buses are under verification. Stern action will be initiated against the offenders, said the police
