Skeleton mystery in Janla outpost: NHRC initiates investigation

Bhubaneswar, April 18 : The National Human Rights Commission(NHRC) has initiated investigation into recover of the woman skeleton from Janla outpost premises. Sources said the Commissionerate Police had intimated NHRC regarding recovery of an unidentified woman’s skeleton from Janla outpost inside an seized car. NHRC assigned a Magistrate to investigate into the matter. Accordingly, a Magistrate visited Janla outpost on Saturday and took stock of the incident. During investigation, he discussed with the outpost in-charge and the Inspector In-Charge of Mahila Police Station regarding the matter. Notably, in pursuance of a legal formality, the Commissionerate Police had informed the NHRC about the matter.
