Six stranded brick makers rescued in Bhadrak

Bhadrak, May 28: Bhandaripokhari police rescued six laborers those were stranded due to flood in the Baitarani river today. Sources said, six laborers were engaged in a kiln factory at Nereda village under Bhandaripokhari police limit.However, they could not come ashore as the flood water in the Baitarani river submerged the area. Being informed, Bhandaripokhari police rescued them safely with the help of ODRAF team.    Notably, there is a high flood situation in the Baitarani river in the aftermath of cyclone Yaas.
