Sister Subhadra ties Rakhi to conjoined twin survivor Jaga

Phulbani, Aug 11: Conjoined twin survivor, Jaga received with joy the Rakhi tied on his wrist by his younger sister, Subhadra on Thursday. Rakhi was tied on Jaga for the first time after his recovery, who is doing well after invasive brain surgery by the doctors of the All India Institute of Medical Science (AIIMS) in New Delhi, The incident took place in Odisha’s Phulbani area today, on the occasion of Rakhi Purnima. Sources said Jaga has been residing with his parents, Bhunya Kanhar and Puspanjali at Phulbani under the supervision of the district headquarters hospital after he was released from the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack. Meanwhile, Jaga has got a younger sister, Subhadra to play with. According to Jaga’s mother Puspanjali, Subhadra being inspired by the neighboring girls tied a Rakhi on the hand of Jaga after performing a puja and wished the wellbeing of her brother. On the other hand, Jaga offered her sweets and chocolates, given by the parents and relatives. Meanwhile, Jaga was found rejoiced with fastening the rakhi, a symbol of the bondage between a brother and a sister.
