<strong>Single-teacher schools managed with deployment and rationalization</strong>

Bhubaneswar, July 6: Schools with a single teacher are managed with deployment and rationalization, said School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash on Wednesday. While answering a question put by MLA Prasant Behera in the Odisha Assembly today,Dash said that there are a few single-teacher schools across the state. However, classroom teaching in them are managed with deploying teachers from the nearby schools on the basis of rationalization.The number of the guest teachers is determined according to the strength of the concerned schools. Worth mentioning,Behera sought the particulars of the number of schools managed with a single teacher and how physical classes are taken despite good strength of students in multi classes.
