
Bhubaneswar, September 13: Odisha cadre IAS officer Shalini Pandit has been appointed as the Joint Secretary in the Department of Financial Services under the central government.
The Appointment Committee of the Cabinet, functioning under the Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions, issued a formal notification confirming her new assignment.
According to the notification, Pandit will serve in this role for a term of five years or until further instructions are provided.
The official communication mentioned, “Shalini Pandit, IAS, is appointed as Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services, with effect from the date she assumes charge. The appointment will be for a period of five years or until further orders, whichever is earlier.”
Pandit is currently serving as the Commissioner-cum-Secretary for the Department of School and Mass Education in the Odisha Government.
