Bhubaneswar, July 28: East Coast Railway has announced the cancellation of several passenger trains due to yard remodelling work at Baleshwar Station in the Kharagpur Division of South Eastern Railway. The infrastructure work is being undertaken as part of the Narayangarh–Bhadrak third-line project.

According to the railway authorities, the following train services will remain cancelled:

• 68049/68050 Kharagpur–Bhadrak–Kharagpur MEMU: Cancelled from July 29 to August 11, 2026.
• 68051/68052 Bhadrak–Baleshwar–Bhadrak MEMU: Cancelled from July 29 to August 11, 2026.
• 12821/12822 Howrah–Puri–Howrah Express: Cancelled from July 29 to August 9, 2026.
• 12073/12074 Howrah–Bhubaneswar–Howrah Jan Shatabdi Express: Cancelled on August 5, 2026.

Railway authorities have advised passengers to check the latest train status through the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or other official railway enquiry services before planning their journey to avoid inconvenience.
