The State Bank of India (SBI) has officially released the notification CRPD/PO/2025-26/04 for the recruitment of Probationary Officers (PO) for the financial year 2025–26. Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification:
Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government. Final year/semester students can also apply, provided they present proof of passing the degree on or before the interview date.
Age Limit (as of April 1, 2025):
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 30 years
Candidates must be born between April 2, 1995, and April 1, 2004 (both dates inclusive).
Age relaxation applies to reserved categories as per Government norms.
Selection Process
The recruitment process involves three phases:
Preliminary Examination
Main Examination
Phase III: Group Exercise, Interview, and Psychometric Test
Candidates must qualify in each stage to progress to the next. Final selection will be based on combined performance in Mains and Phase III.
Salary and Probation
Basic Pay: ₹48,480 per month
Annual CTC (approx.): ₹20.43 lakh (at Mumbai posting)
Selected candidates will be on a two-year probation and can be posted anywhere across India.
