New Delhi/ Balasore, Dec 3: Union Minister of State for Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries and MSME Pratap Sarangi today thanked and expressed his gratitude to Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister of Road Transport & Highways for sanctioning Rs 125 crore for building and construction of a four-lane road to Shergarh-Nilgiri-Jharanghati along with the building of over bridges and underpass at NH-16 and NH-18.
“I express my gratitude to Shri @nitin_gadkari ji, honourable Central Minister of @MORTHIndia for sanctioning Rs 125 crore for building and construction of four lane road to Shergarh-Nilgiri-Jharanghati along with building of over bridges and underpass at NH-16 and NH-18,” said Sarangi on Twitter.
“Congratulations Odisha for achieving a great gesture today from the Govt. of India (@MORTHIndia ). Odisha, a lot more is coming in the achievement basket,” he added.
In a letter to Sarangi, Gadkari had said, “I am happy to inform that funding from CRIF for converting the two-lane Sergarh-Nilgiri-Jharanaghati Road into four-lane in the State of Odisha for Rs.125 Crores is sanctioned by me, as requested by yourself. This is in addition to the construction of over-bridge in NH-18 at Agira, construction of underpass on NH-18 at Goudani Pokhari between Shergarh and Khantapada and NH-16 (Bhadrakh-Balasore Section); NH-18 (Balasore-Baripada-Jharpokharia Section); NH-60 (Balasore-Kharagpur Section) already sanctioned. I reassure you of my commitment with the development of Odisha State at all times.”
