Puri, July 23: : The Shri Jagannath Temple Administration has announced that public entry through the Singhadwara (Lion's Gate) of the Shri Gundicha Temple for sandhya darshan will remain closed from 6:00 PM today in view of the extensive preparations and ritual observances ahead of the holy Bahuda Yatra.

According to the administration, the temporary restriction has been imposed to facilitate the ceremonial cleansing (Shodha) of the Shri Gundicha Temple and the performance of several important pre-Bahuda rituals of the Holy Deities.

The Temple Administration has appealed to devotees to cooperate with the arrangement and accept the temporary suspension of evening darshan on Navami as a part of their devotional service, ensuring the smooth and uninterrupted conduct of the sacred rituals.

The administration also expressed its sincere gratitude to all Sevayats (temple servitors) for their continued support and effective coordination in the preparations for the annual festival.
