Sambalpur, Aug 1: The Samaleswari temple in Odisha’s Sambalpur district will reopen from August 3, informed the temple trust board today.
“The cession has been taken after consolation with the district administration. The temple will remain closed on each Monday,” informed the temple trust president Sanjay Babu.
Meanwhile, the district administration has issued SOPs on reopening of the temples and religious places across the district.
According to the guidelines, the local Revenue Inspector will coordinate with the village head as well as priest of the temple for ensuring smooth darshan, puja in the concerned religious institutions, places of worship duly maintaining SOP of COVID- 19.
“No religious place/ place of worship will be allowed to open for public in the Containment Zone. In every week, temples, mosques, churches and other religious places shall remain closed on Monday for sanitization.
