S & ME Dept writes DEOs for strict implementation of Covid-19 guidelines

Bhubaneswar, Feb 22: The School & Mass Education (S & ME) Department of Odisha has instructed all District Education Officers (DEOs) to strictly implement Covid-19 safety protocols in view of fresh spike in number of Covid-19 infection in some states in the country. It has directed the DEOs to ensure implementation of adequate and strict sanitisation measures in schools, higher secondary schools and other educational institutions under their administrative control. The department has instructed to follow mandatory wearing of mask, maintaining of physical distance and provision of thermal scanning and hand wash or hand sanitiser by the students, teachers, staff and others.
