New Delhi, March 2: Yet another Indian student from Barnala, Punjab died in war-torn Ukraine on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as 22-year-old Chandan Jindal, a medical student studying at Vinnytsia National Pyrogov, Memorial Medical University, Vinnytsia Ukraine.
According to reports, Jindal who had suffered an Ischemic stroke earlier was admitted in Emergency Hospital Vinnytsia (Kyivska street 68). He took his final breath earlier in the day.
The deceased’s father has written to the Center to make arrangements for bringing his body back home.
The Indian Government is also making efforts to bring back the body of a student from Karnataka who died in shelling a day earlier in Kharkiv.
As per sources, bringing back the bodies are likely to take place through other countries sharing border with Ukraine since the airspace in Ukraine has been shut down for passenger services.
