Rs 4.26 crore property found in possession of headmaster in Odisha

Bargarh, Dec 16: Vigilance has unearthed properties worth Rs 4.26 crore of Pramod Kumar Panigrahi, headmaster of Panchayat High School, Ganthiapali in Bargarh district. Panigrahi was found in possession of assets worth Rs 4.26 crore including one triple stories building at Dungurupali at Subarnaur worth Rs 1.8 crore, two double stories building at Tilemal in Bargarh district worth Rs 1.02 crore, 12 plots in various places of Bargarh and Subarnapur worth rs 34.04 lakh, deposits worth Rs 6.42 lakh in banks and post offices and investments in various bank policies worth Rs 22.06 lakh. Vigilance officials on Wednesday raided the house of Panigrahi on allegations of acquiring assets disproportionate to known sources of his income. The searches were conducted at five places including his residential house in Agalpur in Balangir district and Dunguripali in Subarnapur.
