Rs 1.5 lakh cash, gold ornaments looted from car in Subarnapur

Subarnapur, Oct 30: Miscreants have looted Rs 1.5 lakh cash and 104 grams of gold ornaments from a car at the Binika bus stand in Subarnapur on Saturday.  Sources said Sunil Kumar Sahu, a native of Tarabha was going to Barapali village in the afternoon. He parked the car at  Binika bus stand went to a fruit vendor, which was a few meters away from the parking place. Meanwhile, looters stole a bag from the car that contained Rs 1.5 lakh cash,104 grams of gold ornaments, and 1100 grams of silver. Subsequently, Sahu lodged a complaint with Binika police. Acting on it, police rushed to the spot and initiated an investigation. Checking and blocking are on to reach the looter gang. However, police have got no clue regarding the looters or the stolen goods so far, said police.
