Revenue dept orders disposal of mutation case in a week

Bhubaneswar, Mar 25: Odisha Revenue department has ordered to dispose mutation (transfer of land titles) cases within a week. Revenue Secretary Bishnupada Sethi has directed all the district collectors on Wednesday in this connection. As per the order, the collectors will ensure disposal of undisputed mutation cases within a week. The provision of serving notices is not essential for the mutation application with no dispute. On the other hand, cases with litigation will be sorted out within a month. The Tehsildar concerned will expedite disposal of mutation cases after due verification of the information submitted in the specified Proforma No 3. Similarly, the department has revised the time period for complain from 30 days to 180 days, raid the letter.
