Bhubaneswar, Aug 30: Indian Railways has announced the restoration of train stoppages at several key stations to enhance passenger convenience, responding to public demand and feedback from representatives. These revised stoppages—previously withdrawn—will be reinstated in phases starting 1st September 2025.
Details of Restored Stoppages
• Train No. 12822 (Puri-Shalimar Dhauli Express): Stoppage will resume at Markona station from 1st September 2025.
• Train No. 12872 (Titlagarh-Howrah Ispat Express): Stoppage to be restored at Bagdehi station from 1st September 2025.
• Train No. 18006 (Jagdalpur-Howrah Express): Stoppages reinstated at Bisra and Rajkharsawan Junction effective 1st September 2025.
• Train No. 18118 (Gunupur-Rourkela Rajyarani Express): Stoppage returns to Bagdehi station starting 1st September 2025.
• Train No. 18477 (Puri–Yog Nagari Rishikesh Utkal Express): Stops will resume at Basta and Bisra station from 1st September 2025.
• Train No. 18410 (Puri-Shalimar Sri Jagannath Express): Stoppage reinstated at Rupsa Junction from 2nd September 2025.
• Train No. 18449 (Puri-Patna Baidyanathdham Express): Stoppage at Burnpur station resumes from 2nd September 2025.
• Train No. 22874 (Visakhapatnam-Digha Express): Stop at Jaleswar station restored from 5th September 2025.
• Train No. 22890 (Puri-Digha Express): Stoppage at Jaleswar station returns from 7th September 2025.
