Cuttack, May 3: Residents of Sardhapur village in Narsinghpur, Cuttack district, blocked the main Kamaladih road in protest over a power outage that has lasted three days.

The disruption occurred after a electric pole was damaged and torn down during the recent Kalbaisakhi storm. Despite three days having passed, the electricity line has not yet been restored, causing severe inconvenience to the local community.

In response to the road blockade, police from Jodumun police station arrived at the site and are currently try to pacify the situation.
