Puri, July 3: The repair works of Srimandir’s kitchen floor will be completed in 10 days, said an ASI official on Sunday.
A team of the Archeological Survey of India (ASI) visited the Jagannath temple for the scheduled inspection and maintenance during Rath Yatra every year.
Odisha ASI Chief Arun Mallick said the condition of Jagamohan and Nata Mandap is alright and they do not need any work.
He further said that permission has been sought from the ASI DG for the installation of CCTVs in view of the security of the Jagannath Temple.
Besides, the silver cladding of the Kalahata gate will be completed very soon and the sanctum sanctorum will be cleaned completely.
