Renowned bodybuilder Santosh Badajena dies in tragic accident on Daya bridge

Bhubaneswar, August 27:In a heart-wrenching incident, internationally acclaimed bodybuilder Santosh Badajena lost his life in a fatal road accident on the Daya Bridge connecting Puri and Bhubaneswar.
The accident occurred when Badajena, a resident of Ward 59 in Bhubaneswar, was riding his motorcycle across the bridge. According to eyewitnesses and preliminary police reports, his bike collided with a bull lying in the middle of the road. The sudden impact caused the bike to skid uncontrollably, leading to a severe crash. Barajena succumbed to his injuries on the spot.
Santosh Barajena had brought pride to the state by representing India in numerous national and international bodybuilding competitions. His untimely demise has left the fitness and sports community in shock and mourning.
Local police rushed to the scene soon after being alerted and have launched an investigation into the incident. Authorities are also examining the circumstances that led to the presence of stray cattle on a busy thoroughfare.
