Bhubaneswar: Re-polling in 34 booths, where voting was held in the third and fourth phase, is likely to be held on May 19.
Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Surendra Kumar had recommended re-polling in these booths.
“Re-polling in 12 booths, where voting was held in third phase on April 23 and 22 booths in fourth phase held on April 29, is likely to be held on May 19,” said Kumar.
Kumar further said that training related to EVM, VVPAT slip and ballot paper counting of Master trainers is currently underway whereas Returning Officers will be trained on May 13 and 14.
The CEO further informed that the district-level training will be held between May 14 and 19. “Counting of votes will be held simultaneously at five booths in each constituency on May 23,” added the CEO.
