20/05/2022 at 6:28 PM

Mumbai, May 20: Team India’s former head coach Ravi Sastri who has always been the talk of town for his various controversies, has again grabbed everyone’s attention after he shared a series of photos of himself in different than usual look.

Sashtri on Friday morning took to his official Twitter handle and shared a pic of him donning a flashy purple jacket teamed up with golden-black shades and a chain.

Along with the picture Sastri wrote “‘Good mornings’ are optional if you haven’t slept at all.”

A couple hours later the sportsman turned party-animal shared another picture of him in the same outfit. Along which he wrote “My family lives in Mumbai and I live in the moment.”

Sastri did not stop there and went on to post another picture of him, this time, in a pink jacket while socialising with a woman, also vibrantly dressed up.

“You’re in her DMs. She’s on my VIP guestlist.” Sashtri wrote along the photo.

In his latest tweet Sashtri simply wrote “Mujhe kya mein toh chill hun” (I don’t care I am totally chilled out) with a ‘chinking beer mugs’ emoji.

Sastri’s tweets have left the social media in a storm as everyone on the internet is talking about him.

Currently Sastri is serving broadcast duties for the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 season. Sastri can also be seen onscreen discussing cricket with other cricket experts.

In July 2017 Shastri, the former team director, was appointed as Head Coach for the national side. As the World cup 2019 was in progress, on 13 June, the BCCI announced an extension of Shastri’s contract by 45 days after the tournament.

On 16 August 2019, he was re-appointed as the head coach of the senior men’s Indian team, with his new contract extending up to the 2021 ICC T20 World Cup in India.

Shastri’s tenure as head coach came to an end after the T20 World Cup last year. In the tournament, the Men in Blue failed to reach the semi-finals stage, after suffering losses against Pakistan and New Zealand in the Super 12 stage.
