Cuttack, Nov 27: The Odisha Cricket Association (OCA) today appointed former Ranji player Rashmi Ranjan Parida as the head coach of Odisha Senior Men’s Cricket Team.
SimilarlyDeepak Mangaraj has been appointed as the bowling coach while Gautham Gopal will be the fielding coach.
Parida has played Ranji matches for Odisha, Rajasthan, Vidarbha and Assam. Parida a right-handed batsman made his debut for Odisha in 1994 and played for them till 2008. Parida also played for Rajasthan and played a crucial role in their promotion from plate group and in winning 2010–11 Ranji Trophy.
