Mumbai, Nov 12: The Crime Branch of Mumbai Police has filed a 446-page charge sheet against Badshah's fake views case. Sources said the police authorities claim that Aditya Prateek Singh alias Badshah paid Rs 74 lakh for getting 72 lakh viewers for one of his songs. Four out of 5 accused have been arrested and Badshah and Koena Mitra are named as witnesses. One of the accused in this case, while conversing with a techie, asserted that he has increased followers of 7-8 individuals. As per one more accused, no move has been made against celebs who increased their followers, even after they admitted to it. Indeed, even the CFO of the organization who worked for Badshah has claimed that the rapper-singer paid him Rs 74, 26,370 for inflating the views. Everything began when singer Bhumi Trivedi went to Mumbai Police and recorded a FIR charging that somebody is reaching individuals on Instagram with her fake ID. As per reports, rapper Badshah, during the scrutinizing, admitted to the police that he had purchased counterfeit perspectives for one of his music recordings, in a bid to break a world record. Badshah had said, "Following the summons, I spoke to the Mumbai Police. I’ve categorically denied all the allegations leveled against me and made it clear that I was never involved in such practices, nor do I condone them." It has been more than one year since the police busted the fake views racket which was allegedly being used by celebs to inflate social media followers and likes and comments on their posts. On the work front, Badshah is basking in the success of his latest hit 'Jugnu'.
