Bhadrak: Union Home Minister and senior BJP leader Rajnath Singh today asked the party workers to reach out people and create awareness about the Centre’s welfare schemes.
Singh was addressing a huge gathering of party workers at Ranitala in Bhadrak.
Asking that why Odisha did not implement the Ayushman Bharat scheme, Singh asked the party workers that it was their duty to create awareness about the Modi Government’s welfare schemes and work hard so that benefits of such initiatives reached more people.
Singh also lauded Odisha’s contribution towards the freedom struggle.
Before addressing the public meeting, the Union Home Minister visited Eram and paid tributes to the martyrs. He also visited the Bhadrakali Temple and offered prayers before addressing the gathering. Eram is known as the second Jallianwalabagh of India where 29 people had sacrificed their lives for the freedom of our country.
A two-minute silence was also observed in memory of the CRPF jawans martyred in the Thursday’s terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
Union Petroleum and Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan among many senior party leaders also spoke.
