Bhubaneswar: Almost all parts of Odisha will witness continuous rains in the next two days and about nine districts in western and northern Odisha will get heavy to very heavy rains during the period as the southwest monsoon is active now, according to weathermen.
Heavy to very heavy rains are likely to lass districts of Bolngir, Bargarh, Sundargarh, Sonepur and Deogarh in western Odisha and Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore and Bhadrak in northern parts of the State. Southern and interior parts will witness light to moderate rains.
Meanwhile, the Regional Meteorological Office, Bhubaneswar has warned the fishermen not to venture into the sea in view of prevailing rough weather. Wind is likely to blow in some coastal districts at 40 to 50 km per hour, it predicted.
