Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to visit Odisha tomorrow

Bhubaneswar, June 29: Railway minister Ashwini Vaishnaw will be on a two-day visit to Odisha starting Thursday. He will inspect Khurda Road-Balangir railway project and open Mahipur-Naugaon Road railway section. He will also flag off of extension Bhubaneswar-Mahipur-Bhubaneswar Passenger Special up to Nuagaon Road from Nuagaon Road station and announce new train towards Puri and stoppage of Sewa Express at Bolagarh. Vaishnaw will also inaugurate Khurda Road new station building and flag off of the LHB services in Prashanti and Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Duronto Express from Khurda Road station. Apart from this, the minister will inaugurate new building of Patia and Vani Vihar PH through video conferencing from Khurda Road station. Vaishnaw  will also inspect various public amenities for devotees of Rath Yatra at Puri including shelter for 15000 pilgrims, mobile ticketing facility, battery operated cart facilities for elderly people and divyangs. He will also witness the annual Rath Yatra at Puri on July 1.
