New Delhi, Aug 2: Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi will be hosting a ‘breakfast meet’ with members of parliament of opposition tomorrow.
The meeting has been arranged to discuss the strategy for the monsoon session. The floor leaders of the opposition have proposed the idea of conducting a ‘mock parliament’ in tomorrow’s scheduled meeting with Gandhi.
The breakfast meeting will be held at the Constitution Club, close to the Parliament building. The invitation has come amid talks of a parallel Parliament session by the Opposition parties since the government has turned down all demands to hold discussion on the Pegasus snooping issue.
The invitation has been sent to 14 parties including NCP, Shiv Sena, TMC, Aam Aadmi Party, CPI, CPM, RJD, IUML, RSP, DMK, Samajwadi Party, National Conference, KCM and VCK.
