Burla, Mar 12: Some second year students have brought ragging allegations against a group of forth year students of Veer Surendra Sai Institute of Medical Sciences and Research (VIMSAR), Burla. A group of fourth year students allegedly ragged the second year students and made them ragged some second year students on Wednesday night over some past misunderstanding. Sources said, a handful fourth year students had ragged some junior second year students in hostel No. 4 and 6 few days back. The junior students had raised the issue before the authority. Being aggrieved on it, the same seniors further ragged the complainants late on Wednesday night. Being informed, Director Prof. Jayashree Dora has ordered a probe into it. She has formed an Anti Ragging Cell to enquire into the matter and report.
