Puri, June 29: No Adapa Darshan of Lord Jagannath & his siblings in the Gundicha Temple in Puri from 9 PM-2 AM tomorrow due to the Banakalagi rituals of the Trinity.
The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) informed it on Sunday and sought co-operation of the devotees.
According to the decision, the sacred 'Banakalagi' ritual of the Holy Trinity at Gundicha Temple in Puri is scheduled to be performed on Monday.
For smooth Banakalagi, public darshan will remain suspended for approximately five hours that’s during 9PM-2AM. Thus, the general public will not be allowed entry into the sanctum of the Shree Gundicha Temple during the prime rituals.
Worth mentioning, Lord Jagannath with his siblings Lord Balabhadra, Goddess Subhadra and Chakraraj Sudarshan, are now worshiped in their cradle land, the Adapa Mandapa after they reached the Gundicha Temple on a ceremonial embark.
