Puri MP Pinaki Mishra appointed BJD parliamentary party chief in Lok Sabha

Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) today appointed Puri MP Pinaki Mishra as the chief of party’s parliamentary party in Lok Sabha.
Similarly, Kandhamal MP Achyuta Samant was made the chief whip while Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty has been appointed as the deputy chief whip of BJD in Lok Sabha.
Veteran BJD MP Bhartruhari Mahtab had earlier served as the parliamentary party chief in the lower house in the previous term. Former Dhenkanal MP Tathagat Satpathy was the chief whip last time.
