Punjab Kings captain KL Rahul hospitalised with acute appendicitis

New Delhi, May 2: Indian cricketer and captain of Punjab Kings KL Rahul has been hospitalised after he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis “KL Rahul complained of a severe abdomen pain last night and after not responding to medication, he was taken to the emergency room for further tests which revealed that he was diagnosed with acute appendicitis. It will be resolved surgically and for safety measures he has been transferred to the hospital for the same,” said the IPL franchise in tweet. With 331 runs, KL Rahul is currently the leading run-scorer in the ongoing IPL. The franchise is likely to announce the new captain of the team in next few days.
