Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached the Biju Patnaik International Airport here at around 9 am.
The Prime Minister, who came by a special Indian Air Force flight, was received by Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan and Jual Oram, Chief Secretary AP Padhi and DGP Dr RP Sharma, at the BPIA.
The Prime Minister moved to Talcher to lay foundation stone for the Rs 1,300-crore fertiliser plant project at Talcher. He is scheduled to address a public meeting there too.
Later, he would go to Jharsuguda to dedicate the Veer Surendra Sai Airport to public. Besides, he is scheduled to inaugurate four other projects in the State.
