Price of domestic LPG cylinder hiked, check details

New Delhi, May 7: The price of domestic Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) gas cylinder has been hiked by Rs 50 with effect from today.

This hike took the price of a 14.2-kg non-subsidised domestic gas cylinder to Rs 999.50 per cylinder against the earlier price of Rs 949.50.

The hike in LPG cylinder prices has come at a time when people are already troubled due to the rising prices of petrol and diesel across the country.

Earlier on March 22, the price of domestic LPG was hiked by Rs 50 per cylinder.

It is pertinent to mention that, earlier on May 1, the price of a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder was hiked by Rs 102.50 which took the price to Rs 2,355.50 against the earlier price of Rs 2,253.

The price of a 5-kg LPG cylinder was also hiked to Rs 655.
