New Delhi, September 4:  On the eve of Onam and Milad-un-Nabi, President Droupadi Murmu extended her heartfelt greetings to the citizens.

Milad-un-Nabi marks the birth of Prophet Muhammad, and Onam celebrates the joy of the new harvest.

In her message, President Murmu described Onam as a vibrant festival that highlights Kerala’s rich cultural traditions and heritage.

She emphasized that the celebration serves as a reminder of the values of unity, cooperation, and harmony, transcending cultural and religious differences.

Murmu also noted that Onam provides an opportunity to show appreciation for the hard work of farmers, whose efforts make the harvest season possible.
