New Delhi, April 3: President Ram Nath Kovind on Saturday was shifted from the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) to a special room at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) hospital after undergoing bypass surgery earlier this week.
In a tweet, the Rashtrapati Bhawan said, “His health has been improving continuously. Doctors are constantly monitoring his condition and have advised him to take rest.”
On March 30, President Kovind underwent cardiac bypass surgery in morning and the urgery was successful.
He is stable and is being closely monitored by a team of Senior Doctors.
