Bhubaneswar: President Ramnath Kovind will come on a two-day Odisha visit today. He is scheduled to arrive at the Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here at 7 o’clock this evening.
According to reports, soon after his arrival at the BPIA the President will go to the Raj Bhawan where he would spend the night. Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will receive him at the airport.
On Sunday morning, Kovind will go to Khurda by a helicopter to inaugurate the Paika Memorial at Barunei Hill. Later, he will attend the platinum jubilee celebrations of the Utkal University. Kovind would fly back to Delhi in the afternoon.
Adequate security arrangements have been made for the visit of the President.
