<strong>Pre-activated SIM deal: Crime Branch issues notice to mobile operators</strong>

Bhubaneswar,May 4: Odisha Crime Branch has issued notice to the mobile operators who provides mobile connections to the customers, in connection with the illegal SIM card deal in Odisha. General Manager of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd(BSNL), Area Manager of Jio and the state head of Vodaphone have been served notice on Wednesday.The service providers have been asked to take stock of the matter. Sources said, the Crime Branch team has got some significant leads on the illegal pre-activated SIM card trade in Odisha. A few powerful persons are allegedly involved in the profitable deal including some officials, reveals the investigation. During interrogation to the two accused, Sai Prakash and Abinash on their remand, the Crime Branch have got clues regarding the link.
