Poor students can study in private schools in Odisha

Bhubaneswar, Feb 20: Students belonging to economically weaker section can take online admission in private schools. A pact has been signed in this regard and the online admission process will commence from February 24, said School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash. An MoU has been signed by the state government with Indus Action, a non-profit organisation which will provide financial support for the online admission of the needy children, said Dash. The admission process would be launched on February 24 and the desirous students can apply online from February 25, he said. The government has also regularised the services of 9965 junior teachers, informed the Minister.
