Khordha, Oct 28: Bolagarh Police successfully raided a house in Manikagada village and seized 314 grams of brown sugar, cash amounting to 4 lakh rupees, five cars, and a firearm. The value of the seized brown sugar is estimated at 3.29 crore rupees.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Vivekananda Sharma, the accused were operating a brown sugar trafficking business from the house in Manikagada. The police had received a tip-off from a reliable source, which led to the arrest of the suspects involved in the illicit trade.

The accused were arrested on charges of drug trafficking and have been remanded in judicial custody following their appearance in court.
