Police DG reviews security ahead of President's visit

Bhubaneswar, Mar 17: DGP, Abhay today reviewed security arrangements in connection with proposed visit of President of India to Bhubaneswar, Rourkela and Puri through video conference. ADGP (L&O), Director Intelligence, CP Bhubaneswar-Cuttack, Joint Director, Intelligence Bureau, IGP WR, Rourkela, DIGP Central Range, Cuttack, Ss.P of Rourkela, Puri, Jharsuguda and DCP Bhubaneswar attended. Officials of Bhubaneswar Airport Authority and CISF also attended the meeting. A thorough review of security arrangements at all visit locations in Rourkela and Puri as well as at airports of Bhubaneswar and Jharsuguda and Raj Bhawan, Bhubaneswar were discussed. DGP emphasised on strict access control and anti-sabotage check and thorough security arrangements with adherence to all Covid protocols. District SPs apprised on arrangements being made to ensure full proof security during the visit of President of India to Odisha.
